Shiva ji form small but effective Army. Shiva ji knows that Mughals has better Army and Marathas not start war from front and he started Guerilla tactics and that’s why Aurangzeb called shivaji a “Mountain Rat”. He makes his forts on Hill to view activities of his opponents He also make Marathas Navy which fought with Britishers or Portuguese. The Capital of Marathas Empire was Marashtra. in Modern Times Shivaji is name as a hero in India . Every Indian Hindu or Muslim Love Shivaji Maharaj for his bravery but unfortunately some parties start false movement related to shivaji that his dream was to make India as “Hindu Rashtra” which is completely false. If this is right then why shiva ji makes his Army General who is Muslim His successor was Sambhaji Maharaj. He is one of the best Sub-Continent warrior and fighter He died in “3 April 1680 (aged 50 Years)” at Raigad Fort, Mahad . Maratha Kingdom we are asking that both shivaji and Aurangzeb are world best Fighters and Heroes of India but the thing that’s make him different is only religion.
